What is WaterBunny?
WaterBunny is a hydration tracker built around a simple idea: watching a little animal fill up with water is way more motivating than staring at a progress bar. Log your cups throughout the day and watch your chosen animal silhouette gradually fill from the bottom up as you hit your goal.
It connects to Apple Health to store your water data alongside everything else about your health, fires friendly reminders when you forget to drink, and tracks caffeine and electrolytes too — all without an account, login, or subscription wall.

Your chosen animal fills with water as you log cups throughout the day. Nine free themes — Bunny, Bear, Horse, Crocodile, Octopus, Shark, Sloth, Walrus, and the rotating Mystery theme — plus additional animals unlocked with Pro.
Apple Health Integration
Water, caffeine, and electrolyte data writes directly to Apple Health. Your hydration history lives alongside your other health data, readable by any app you authorize.
Reminders With Personality
Set hydration reminders on your schedule — gentle (every 3 hours), regular (every 2 hours), or aggressive (every hour). Choose a message tone: Normal, Snarky, Cute, Motivational, Funny, Zen, Science, or All.
Caffeine Tracking
Log caffeine alongside water with one tap. Five presets — Tea, Espresso, Latte, Energy Drink, and Coffee — with accurate mg values written to Apple Health.
Siri & Shortcuts
Log water with a voice command or quick-action notification button. Four App Intents work without opening the app: Log Water, Log Drink, Log Caffeinated Drink, and View Today's Intake.
Insights & Streaks
Track your daily progress with an area chart showing cumulative intake vs. your goal. View streaks, personal bests, and your best single-day volume. Week, Month, and Year views available with Pro.
Electrolyte Tracking (Pro)
Log electrolytes alongside water from a built-in product library — LMNT, Nuun Sport, Liquid IV, and Pinch of Salt — or create custom products with your own mineral breakdown.
Flexible Units
Track in metric (mL/L), US Imperial, or UK Imperial. Cup size snaps to the nearest valid value when you switch — no manual conversion needed.
Animal Themes
Choose your hydration companion. Each theme changes the silhouette on your main screen and swaps the app icon to match. The Mystery theme picks a different animal every day.

Your Health Data: WaterBunny can write dietary water, caffeine, and electrolyte data to Apple Health — but that data is never sent to our servers. We don't collect it, we don't upload it, and we don't track it. Apple Health data may sync across your devices via iCloud, which is managed entirely by Apple. You control what gets written to Apple Health, and you can revoke access at any time in Settings.
Analytics: WaterBunny uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous product-interaction events. No health data is ever included. No advertising or cross-app tracking.
